Adopt a Park

Adopt A Park is a volunteer program through which you help maintain and care for our community parks. Whether you are part of a group or would like to help out individually, we welcome your contribution. As a volunteer, you will have regular contact with Waconia Parks & Recreation staff that is always willing to listen to comments and suggestions. You can help maintain our public parks through clean-up efforts, weeding, planting and general maintenance. We ask for a one year commitment during which you or your group would visit your designated park at least three times– preferably early spring, mid-summer and late fall. YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
